We blinked and Q4 is already here. The last few months have been jam packed with customer and industry events, checkins and onsites with advisors, and time in the field observing advisor practices. All of this input and feedback is helping us drive new product updates, which we are excited to share in the October Product Update.

New Platform Capabilities

Document Intelligence

Turn client documents into actionable advice in under 60 seconds. We're excited to introduce Document Intelligence AI-powered document processing and data extraction that eliminates the data entry bottlenecks slowing down your practice.

Upload tax returns, brokerage statements, or intake forms and Zocks reads, extracts client and financial details, and syncs to your CRM and financial planning systems, saving hours of manual review and data entry.

Unique to Zocks: You can perform field-level updates directly in any of the supported CRMs (including Redtail, Wealthbox, Salesforce, etc.) and eMoney right from your documents. This means that, in addition to generating complete document summaries, you can also update specific data fields such as salary values, beneficiaries, account numbers, contact details, policy terms, and more all at the field level.

  • Onboard clients faster - Turn client intake documents into populated CRM and planning data in minutes.
  • Ask your AI Assistant anything - Get instant answers about uploaded documents.

Availability: Document Intelligence is available on the Ultimate plan. Professional and Essentials customers can start a 30-day free trial to experience the full Ultimate feature set.

Agenda Tracking

Turn every client meeting into a productive, trackable interaction. We're excited to introduce Agenda Tracking AI-powered meeting management that keeps you on track, ensures nothing falls through the cracks, and automatically creates follow-up tasks for what didn't get covered.

Set agendas before meetings with AI-suggested topics, track progress in real-time, and get completion summaries with automated tasks-so you stay organized and clients feel heard.

What You Can Do:

  • Create agendas from templates - Start with default templates for common meeting types or customize your own. Save time and ensure consistency.
  • Choose how agendas are built - Use fixed items, let AI suggest topics based on client context, or add custom items. Complete flexibility for your workflow.
  • Track progress during meetings - See what's covered in real-time and get gentle reminders to stay on track. No more forgotten topics.
  • Get completion summaries automatically - After each meeting, see what was covered and what wasn't. Zocks creates follow-up tasks for anything you didn’t get to.
  • Track meeting patterns over time - See which topics come up repeatedly and measure how effective your meetings are. Improve with every interaction.

What's Coming Next: Enhanced real-time progress monitoring and deeper analytics to help you run even more effective meetings.

Availability: Agenda Tracking is now included with the Professional and Ultimate subscription plans. 

Agenda Tracking is rolling out in stages and will reach all accounts by mid next week.

Private Meetings

Keep sensitive meetings completely private. Private Meetings gives Account Owners full control over who can see meeting content – perfect for leadership discussions, HR conversations, and confidential client matters that need to stay that way. This new capability strengthens organizational governance and trust in Zocks as a secure platform for every meeting type.

What You Can Do:

  • Control privacy at the account level - Account Owners decide which meeting types are private and manage all privacy settings.
  • Make meetings private by type or individually - Set entire meeting types as private (like "Leadership Team" or "Private Client Check-in") or mark individual meetings as private. Only invited participants can see them.
  • Hide from everyone else - Private meetings don't appear in upcoming, live, or past meeting views for anyone not invited.
  • Privacy stays permanent - If you change a meeting type's privacy settings later, past meetings keep their original privacy status.

Availability: Private Meetings are now included with the Professional and Ultimate subscription plans. 

AI Assistant - Practice Intelligence (Beta)

Your AI Assistant is already great at answering questions about each client – drawing from meeting notes, emails, CRM data, planning details, and more.

Now Practice Intelligence can analyze your entire practice-and help you act on what it finds across all client profiles.

Practice Intelligence analyzes patterns across your entire book of business, spotting opportunities, gaps, and trends you'd never catch manually. Ask questions about segments of clients, then trigger workflows to act on what you discover.

Ask questions like:

  • “Show me all my clients who have children but no education savings plan.”
  • “Which households have large cash positions but no investment policy?”
  • “Which clients are approaching retirement in the next 5 years and haven’t updated their financial plan in the last 12 months?”
  • “List all my clients who haven’t had a meeting within the last 90 days.”

Then take action with AI-powered workflows-just describe what you want to do. Create outreach campaigns, schedule follow-ups, assign planning tasks, or trigger onboarding sequences. No manual list-building or exports.

Availability: Zocks Practice Intelligence is available in closed beta. We’re opening limited spots through our Early Access Program for firms ready to explore new workflows and help shape the future of AI-powered practice management.

Enhancements

Expanded filtering options on the Analytics Dashboard

Zocks already provides incredibly rich data and granular insights but having the data is only half the equation. Making it actionable is what drives real outcomes.

As part of our ongoing Analytics Roadmap, we’ve added new filtering options that make it easier to group, compare, and analyze performance across your team and practice. These filters are especially helpful for coaching different teams, comparing performance across client lifecycle stages and meeting types, identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, and evaluating junior and senior advisor performance side-by-side.

What’s new:

  • Filter by Meeting Type - Review performance and outcomes across onboarding meetings, portfolio reviews, planning sessions, and more.
  • Filter by Team Member Role - Compare results between roles such as Advisors, Associate Advisors, Operations, Specialists, and others within your practice.
New AI Assistant conversational experience

We are introducing a refreshed Zocks ‘Ask Anything’ experience that is more transparent, responsive, and conversational. You’ll now see real-time updates on what the assistant is doing, which data sources it’s accessing and analyzing, and how it arrived at its results with citations.

It's designed to be faster, more engaging and should result in fewer “black box” moments where it is unclear why the Assistant provided the results that it did for users.

AI Assistant practice intelligence

Why this matters:

  • The Zocks ‘Ask Anything’ experience is more closely aligned with how general purpose AI tools function, but tuned specifically for financial advisory work.
  • You get more clarity and trust in its recommendations, thanks to improved transparency into how the answer is generated.
  • This foundation enables smarter, practice-wide workflows, not just task-level assistance.

New Integrations and Automations

Zocks now integrates with Zapier

Connect Zocks to 8,000+ apps with our new Zapier integration. Automate workflows between Zocks and your entire tech stack-so you can scale your practice without adding manual work. Connect marketing tools, task management, document signing, and more to create workflows that run themselves.

What You Can Do:

  • Build custom automations for your practice - Connect to 8,000+ apps and create workflows that fit exactly how you work.
  • Trigger workflows from meetings - Available now: "Meeting Completed" and "Meeting Summary Available" triggers to automate what happens after every client conversation.
  • Client Signals (coming soon!) - Automate workflows when clients mention major life changes: child birth, marriage, home purchase, retirement, new business, college planning, inheritance, and more.

Now you can extend beyond your core advisory tools and workflows, and create new automations for areas like marketing campaigns in HubSpot, sending personalized gifts via Sendoso, creating tasks in Asana, posting updates to Slack channels, generating documents in DocuSign, and more.

Scheduled Meeting Prep automation

As part of our new Automation Framework, you can now tailor Zocks to your preferred Meeting Preparation workflow.

Your AI Assistant already works with a deep client context, pulling from Past Meeting notes, CRM details, Financial Planning and Tax Planning data, Open Tasks, and more to generate a complete, ready-to-use meeting prep. No more jumping between systems or digging through past activity. It even includes personalized conversation starters to help you open meetings naturally.

Now, you can choose when you want this preparation to be auto-generated. Whether you normally prepare 1 hour, 8 hours, or 2 days before a meeting, Zocks will automatically create a Meeting Prep at the right time based on the meeting type and your selected templates.

Availability: All users in the Professional and Ultimate subscription tiers.
