SMS terms
These SMS Terms govern the text messages Zocks sends about appointments you book through Zocks Scheduling. They are written for you, the person receiving the texts - not for the financial firm you booked with.
The messaging program
Zocks Communications, Inc. (“Zocks,” “we,” “us”) provides scheduling software to financial advisory firms. When you book an appointment through a Zocks-powered booking page and opt in to text messages, we send automated SMS messages on behalf of the firm you booked with (the “Firm”). These messages are transactional only:
- a confirmation when your appointment is booked, rescheduled or cancelled and
- reminders before your appointment, including any changes you make to it.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages under this program.
Opting in
You receive these messages only if you provided your mobile number and checked the SMS consent box while booking (or when responding to a booking invitation). Consent is optional and is not a condition of booking an appointment. If you book again after opting out, you can opt back in the same way.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your appointment activity — typically one confirmation per booking and one or more reminders per appointment, depending on the Firm’s reminder schedule.
Cost
Zocks does not charge you for these messages, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier depending on your plan.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message and you will stop receiving texts from Zocks. You can resume messages by replying START or UNSTOP, or by opting in again on your next booking. You may also contact us at support@zocks.io to opt out.
Opting out of SMS does not cancel your appointments, and you will continue to receive appointment emails where applicable.
Help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@zocks.io. For questions about your appointment itself, contact the Firm you booked with.
Supported carriers & delivery
Messages are supported on major U.S. and Canadian carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed; do not rely solely on SMS for time-sensitive appointment information.
Your privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates.
Eligibility
By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder of the mobile number provided (or have the holder’s permission), that you are at least 18 years old, and that the number is a U.S. or Canadian mobile number.
Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page before they take effect.
